2013...A Year in Review

I honestly can't believe that today is the last day of 2013! Over the last few days I've been reflecting on the past year and how much has happened as well as how much I've changed and grown as a person. I've been trying to figure out what to include in this post...but I know if I include everything it will be a marathon one and I know not many people enjoy reading super long posts! HA :) So let me try and keep it short. :)

The Dreaded "D" Word...

This post has been a long time coming...and it's one that I've honestly been a bit nervous about. There isn't a person, relationship or marriage that ever wants this word to come up...let alone live through. But in reality, this is something that most of us have either lived or known someone who has lived it. Are you ready to tackle this? Take a deep breath because I'm about to put the REAL in The REAL Housewife of Snohomish County. **breathe**

Thanksgiving Here We Come!

Another year has flown by, even though it feels like it was only yesterday that I was making my first Thanksgiving turkey in my new kitchen! It's hard to believe that it's already been a year, and thinking back I have so much to be thankful for that I don't even know where to begin.

Tomatillo, what?!

Tomatillo, what? More like...REAL Housewife of Snohomish County, WHAT?!? I know, I've been absent so long from my blog I'm surprised that people are even still checking it out! How about this...it was actually on purpose, I wanted you all to go all the way back to post number 1 and read everything! :) Have you? No? What?! Why not? **See how I shifted the blame here!** :) Well I suppose I should really talk about what I'm here to talk about...tomatillos.

Grocery Employees...I stand behind you!

This morning I sat on the couch doing something that I don't do very often. I planned out meals for the next three days. Now for some people that is a normal thing, they plan out their meals a week in advance and make one trip to the store every week. I'm not like that though...I love to go to the store almost every day, see the wonderful ladies at QFC, and get my requisite daily outing done. :) But today was different. The workers of some of the major grocery stores could be striking soon.

Mini Vacation...Part 2...Day 2.

Okay...I'm not going to lie....I'm getting old! After a full day of walking around I looked at my husband and uttered the words..."I'm too old for this." I know...pathetic right? Well remember...in the past week we've done a fair bit of walking, driving, hiking, zip lining and stair climbing! I think it's finally starting to catch up to me. But that being said, today was a wonderful day here in Portland.

Mini Vacation...Part 2...Day 1

Well...we are at our next destination! Where is it? Is it killing you because I haven't told you yet? Or are you like...I follow you on Facebook and Instagram...I know where you are. Well...if you don't know yet...I'm about to tell you.

In between Mini Vacations...

I wish that I could say that today I sat on the couch the entire day, eating bon-bons and drinking wine. But that would be nothing but a big, fat lie! Today, just like any other day in the life of a housewife, was busy. My husband may be on vacation, and we may be in between mini vacations...but my job never really does stop.

Mini Vacation...Day 3...Back Home!

Now I did say at the beginning of this series of posts that it was TWO mini vacations. Now I wasn't lying about that at all! Today, we made our way back to the United States...back to our home where we'll be for the next day or so. But have no fear my faithful readers...we will be back on the road shortly!

Mini Vacation...Day 2.

What a busy day it was today! We started at 6 AM when the alarm rang. And again...Dolly Parton's song was rolling through my brain as I tried to get my day started. We wanted to make sure we made it up to Whistler with plenty of time. And we accomplished that goal! :)

Two Mini Vacations...Day 1

I realize that it's been quite some time that I've actually posted a blog...and for that I'm sorry. Life has been crazy, and I know I always say that...but it's the truth. I've been busy building the new chicken coop to replace the old house/flower bed part of the current one, and then Michael had a little sickness as well. So things have just been a little off, but I agree...it's no excuse. But I'm here to tell you that you'll be getting quite a few posts this week! :) Aren't you happy?
