The Final Countdown!

Cue the music! :) AH HA HA

Today has been an amazingly busy day! I have about 90 million things to do, and only two days to do them! I've been so concerned about getting the dogs ready for their stay at The Dog Spot, the house ready for us to leave, and our house sitters to stay, and all the other little things that go along with vacation!


Today I got up early and made my way to town to help with the prep for NovemberFest (FYI, you can STILL donate!!!). I had to run downtown to get a new inhaler to help with my asthma, as the last one was giving me headaches, and then back to work to help with some other projects! Then I rushed up to Lynnwood to get my haircut! I love the little Asian lady who cuts my hair, she is super sweet, and I have a special place in my heart for little Asian ladies! ;-)

After that I had time to come home to wash my hair then I met my friend Douglas for a drink and to catch up...also he still had my house key and car key from when we were on the cruise! And I need to pass those on to Dughi face since she's our Emergency Contact for the boys! :) And, being the good housewife that I am, I took my husband dinner since he's working until 2 AM! :) I got home around 8:45 PM and proceeded to make/can 4 quarts of applesauce! Here are some pics!

After 20 minutes in a hot bath, time to rest overnight!

What a busy night! I still need to get my suitcase packed! However, I'm not sure if that is going to happen tonight, I'll probably work on that tomorrow night after the NovemberFest! :)

Tonight I've also been working on getting everything ready for the dogs since I'm dropping them off tomorrow morning early. Now some of you will make fun of me, BUT I like to separate out their food for each meal. I feel like this makes it easier for The Dog Spot, since they don't have to measure out food, just pour out of the ziploc baggie. So if you have dogs, believe me, they'll LOVE you if you do this!!!!

Sheesh! Cooper eats a shit ton!!!

Well, I suppose I should get going. The boys are sleeping on the couch with me right now. I wanted to spend a ton of time with them tonight since we won't see them for quite some time
